Where do we sit our pupils at class?

Hi there!

I want to talk about behaviour of children at class and what can we do. I don't care about the punishment effect, I believe in cooperative work, in the effect that pupils' help can do in other's needs.

That's why we should think about sitting our pupils in tables of cooperative work and not by pairs or individually. Always taking account on their needs and abilities.

We, the teachers, are those who know our pupils best. We know exactly which are their abilities, needs and behaviour.

We should sit those pupils who tend to be nice with others, always helping with those who are needing help.

I found this site in the Internet where you can create your own chart writing your pupils' behaviour and abilities and they will help you to put pairs or groups together.

This is Class Charts

This is a behaviour management software that we can use to improve behaviour and recognise achievement in our students, but we can even involve colleagues and parents.

This is a video tutorial about it:

Thanks for reading.

Antonio.
