Hello teachers!
I'd like to talk about my experience at class teaching literature to children.
As I have seen at the school, we are working a different story per week. We have worked stories as Goldilocks and the three bears, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Owl Babies, etc.
These are the children writing about Goldilocks and the three bears:
They are working on it in different ways every week, depending on what the teacher want to focus in.
Grammar, spelling and pronunciation are always common things to work on the stories but always with different vocabulary.
In general, we are trying our students to get as much knowledge possible about adjectives and vocabulary in order to achieve their best description possible.
They are six year old, and of course perfection is not important. We don't care if they make any mistake, the most important is that they are writing. It doesn't matter if they go wrong but they need to write.
This is another example about Jack and the Beanstalk.
I'll tell you more about the stories we will keep working on!
Antonio.
