Flipped Classroom

Hello there!

Today I want to show you a new teaching method to be taken at class. This technique is winning place in Europe and we worked on it in the past Comenius Week at Catholic University of Valencia. This is one innovator, active and enjoyable ICT resource.

This is called Flipped Classroom (FC). This term was said by two Chemistry teachers from Colorado that decided to promote a method for those students who have lost some lessons. 


In this board you can see a comparative between a traditional classroom timing and a flipped one. 

That's why they recorded a practical explanation in a video, about the concepts, waking curiosity up, challenging their students to explore more.

It is a great resource, students can see the videos at home as a unit presentation before the session and then practise at class and solve problems and individual difficulties.

This method will be very attractive for last Primary grades and upper, Secondary and Superior studies, but it can also be adapted to Nursery education.
