Plickers & Kahoot

Practising balance at PE

Aloha teachers!!

Today I'd like to tell you something I get attracted from the school during my teacher training course this year.

I'm quite interested in sliding sports, such as surfing, snowboarding, skating... And I like training my balance when I can't practise these sports.

Where do we sit our pupils at class?

Hi there!

I want to talk about behaviour of children at class and what can we do. I don't care about the punishment effect, I believe in cooperative work, in the effect that pupils' help can do in other's needs.

That's why we should think about sitting our pupils in tables of cooperative work and not by pairs or individually. Always taking account on their needs and abilities.

Counting to 10

Aloha teachers!

These days I've been experiencing how students are learning to add. Watching and helping them I have remembered how I learnt when I was a kid. I used to manage with abacus when I started but that is an old technique.

Nowadays, the children are learning to count out to 10 with some different methods and this one caught my attention.

My favourite story when I was a child

Hi everyone!

I've been told again to talk about my past, today about my favourite story when I was a child.

Buff, this is a difficult work because I've always loved Story-Telling. I was that annoying child telling his mummy and daddy to tell a different story every night. Of course they always tried to made me believe that they were different but at the end I caught them, they only changed the characters names!!
